David Spade and Julie Bowen (of Happy Gilmore! and Modern Family) have systematically nailed the art of self-deprecating humor, so putting them together could only result in self-flagellating genius. Leave it to Jimmy Kimmel to deliver some snark-gold: Here David Spade is a “new employee” for the show tasked with prepping Bowen for her appearance with Kimmel. Things get mutually catty real fast.
